2nd-3rd Teacher
We are looking for a nurturing teacher to lead a class of ~10 students through the Adventures in U.S. History curriculum from My Father’s World. This easy-to-teach curriculum travels back in time to explore U.S. history from a Christian perspective with fascinating stories, hands-on activities, a timeline, and a student-created history notebook. The students will also study the names of Jesus, learning about His character while reading from a grade-level Bible. This teacher will partner with a dedicated Math Instructor who will provide individualized math instruction to students via small group lessons. The 2-3-level teacher is responsible for delivering all other language arts, social studies, science, art, and music topics included in the MFW curriculum.

Manage lesson plans and classroom activities for 10 students
Utilize MFW curriculum to lead students through language arts, social studies, science, art, and music lessons.
Partner with dedicated math instructor for delivery of math instruction.

Former teaching experience preferred, but not required if the right person is willing to learn.
Active, practicing Christian with a personal faith commitment that aligns with the school’s biblical worldview.
Ability to integrate biblical principles and Christian worldview into teaching and classroom management.

Salary begins at $25+/hour depending on experience.
Family-friendly hours, with Fridays off (Mon-Thu, 9:00 am-12:15 pm).
Position expected to work 15-18 hours/week.
